Once in a while, we will all encounter someone who simply lights up the entire room just by her sheer presence. Patricia is one of those ladies. Unencumbered by inhibition to stay true to herself, Patricia paints her surroundings with a veneer of blitheness everywhere she goes, and has a straightforward and honest approach to life. She is not afraid to live out loud and appreciate the bright side of things, but is determined to live life her own way. Patricia is the quintessential confident contemporary woman.

What is your own definition of success?

Success to me means accomplishing a goal I have set for myself.

What are your sources of strength towards achieving that success?

Keeping my goals in sight no matter the hurdles. I keep tabs on my progresses and reward myself.

If you weren’t working in the job you’re in now, what would you be doing instead?

I guess I would be pursuing a career in media and communications.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I would like to establish a home accessories and decor boutique that emphasises on eclectic items.

 What is your ideal holiday?

My ideal holiday consists of lazy afternoons on a gorgeous beach, being waited on hand and foot. (laughs) I’d love to indulge in tasty treats and yummy cocktails, and a good book by my side. Just perfect!

Living in a sunny climate, what are some of your must-haves when it comes to your skin?

Sunscreen and SPF 50 lip balm are my everyday essentials.

Do you have any beauty secrets that you are willing to impart with?

I take Glutathione supplements daily. Glutathione is not only a wonderful aid for general health, it is also great for the skin. It helps improve my skin’s hyper-pigmentation and gives my skin a radiant glow. One skincare product I cannot do without is my Dr. Dennis Gross 2-Step Daily Face Peel. It is a great product for better looking skin.

Who are your style influences?

I like Jennifer Aniston for her classic sense of style. She keeps her choice of clothing simple, yet elegant and sophisticated. She looks amazing in whatever she wears.  It seems completely effortless.

 Are you a more outdoors or indoors kind of girl?

I would say I am a mix of both.  I play tennis almost every weekend and enjoy my morning walks. I love the beach. I am also happy spending time at home, especially after a long day at work. Having a cup of tea and listening to good music is simply enjoyable!

Do you have a fitness regime?

I pay attention to what I eat. I make sure I eat plenty of fruits and vegetables everyday and drink lots of water. I do not eat fried foods or drink carbonated soft drinks. I used to kick-box up until May last year when I sustained an injury to my left shoulder. Now, I only play tennis, once weekly.

What is the one thing you have to do before you die? 

I have to visit Alaska! It would be so awesome to experience Alaska’s amazing natural wonders. I can envisage myself fishing for salmon and filming bears from a distance. (laughs)

And last, is there a song lyric or a quote that sums your life up nicely?

“It’s my life, it’s now or never. I ain’t gonna live forever. I just want to live while I’m alive. ” It’s My Life by Bon Jovi!
